This acrylic painting blends two contrasting primary colors and not set flat in the recessed frame.  Under protective glass, a genuine level is attached but not squarely.  In order to make the level’s bubble fit between the marks, the painting must either be tilted or hung crooked. Nothing is level, balanced, even, fair or always right.  This reality challenges us all daily.  Some will not be comfortable seeing this pictured “leveled” on the wall but with the level’s bubble off to the side.  They will want to “straighten” it.  As with life, it can’t be level and straight.  The complementarily colored and hand-painted frame reinforces the concept that little, if anything, is perfect. The painting is paper-backed, wired and ready to hang
