This acrylic painting contains a small clear plastic tube tilted to “drip” ball bearings into a pool of melted metal and splashing “heat” into the picture’s center. Some of the ball bearing in the tube move; others are attached in mid-fall. This static movement is exciting. The hot colors of the background emphasis the paintings temperature. The complementary colored and hand-painted frame is randomly scratched to reflect the damage heat and high temperature can cause. The painting is paper-backed, wired and ready to hang. P.S. it is actually room temperature. Note: that any reflections that may appear in the glass are not part of the painting.
