"Man and Vagina Plant" is an artwork that tells a narrative of strange sexuality. The artwork consists of two coordinating green and gold ceramic frames. One frame holds a 8"x10" drawing, the other contains a 3" round drawing. Both drawings are oil pastel. The larger drawing has a man in a shirt and had, but lacking pants. He offers a nut to a red bird. Because he is half naked we can see that his male anatomy has grown in triplicate. This theme of triplicate sexuality is continued in the smaller round drawing. This pair of drawings is elevated to a level of seriousness because of the innocent drawing style of the self-taught artist. Art that will be remembered.
