NBC’s Today Show is coming to Brattleboro on Thursday, November 12th
Today Show meteorologist Al Roker is trying to set a Guinness World Record for reporting the weather in all 50 states in 7 days – and he’ll be doing it in Brattleboro!
Al will be in town on Thursday, November 12th and he’ll be using the Brooks House as the backdrop for his forecast. We want to give him a big Brattleboro welcome - please come downtown and join in the fun! Al is scheduled to roll into town at 9pm, but the welcoming celebration will begin in Pliny Park at 8:30pm. (Yes, he’ll be here in the evening.)
We’re going to be on national television, so the more enthusiastic we are the better! Please spread the word to your friends, family, and co-workers. Forward this message, share it on Facebook and spread the news via Twitter (use @alroker and @todayshow along with #Brattleboro; #todayshowinbrattleboro; #rokerthon). The bigger the crowd the better!
Check out Rokerthon at http://www.today.com/series/rokerthon/rokerthon-returns-al-roker-goes-world-record-nationwide-weather-reports-t52391.
We’ll keep you posted about any new developments. If you have any questions, please contact the Brattleboro Area Chamber of Commerce at (802) 254-4565.
